Compensation

The Compensation and Position Management unit is committed to the University’s goal to recruit and retain highly qualified employees; reward employees based on their demonstrated knowledge, skills, and abilities; and support the achievement of organizational goals.

Under our current Career banding pay plan, market rates have been established based on comparable positions in the outside market.  The purpose of these market reference rates is to allow the state to be more competitive so that we may attract and retain outstanding talent.  These rates have been established at the state level at the Office of State Human Resouces and will be reviewed minimally every three years to remain competitive with the outside market.
