Performance Management is among a manager's most important leadership responsibilities. The interim and annual performance evaluation process provides a structured forum to provide constructive feedback and/or observations to direct reports as regards their respective work performances during the current and past evaluation cycles (March 1 - February 28). This process also provides an important opportunity for a manager and employee to: 1) recognize accomplishments and/or identify developmental needs; 2) promote greater understanding of current and/or future goals (University, departmental, work unit), as well as, their specific role in facilitating achievement of these objectives; and 3) discuss skills development/enhancement opportunities to encourage continuous learning and to enable career growth.
Electronic Performance Evaluations
The timeframe for completion of the SHRA annual performance evaluation process is March 1 - April 30. All SHRA performance evaluations are to be submitted electronically through the NonerTalent system. User guides and other training materials, as regards the electronic submission of performance evaluations, are available below. Process participants - who serve as a manager and/or reviewer of an SHRA employee will need to become familiar with their respective role(s) in the electronic evaluation process.
Performance Evaluation Submission Date: The 2016-2017 performance cycle ends Tuesday, February 28th. Ratings and comments must be submitted through NinerTalent no later than Friday, April 28th.
