If you see someone consistently going above and beyond the parameters of their job, please consider nominating them for a University or State level award such as Employee of the Year or The Governor's Awards. These awards are great ways to formally recognize someone for their hard work. However, a recognition program should consist of both formal and informal methods. Informal recognition should be used daily to acknowledge behaviors and activities which positively contribute to the university.
